While UFC president Dana White states Alistair Overeem won’t lose his place in line after serving his nine-month testosterone suspension, reigning heavyweight king Junior dos Santos (Pictured) doesn’t believe Overeem should retain his top contender moniker when his ban is lifted. “I am champion and never have used anything and I am proud to say that,” dos Santos told UOLEsporte (via Google Translate). “It is unfair to use substances, with or without authorization it makes a difference. A fighter who can do this kind of treatment is not himself in the Octagon. They are using tricks to improve your performance. “We want to see who the real champion is, not a champion of a lie.” Dos Santos and Overeem were set to tango at UFC 146 until “The Demolition Man” destroyed the highly-anticipated shootout by flunking a random pre-fight drug test. The former Strikeforce champion is eligible to reapply for licensing as early as December 27th. “Cigano” is slotted to defend his throne against Cain Velasquez at UFC 152. If 2Santos still has his hardware once Overeem returns, he doesn’t believe a win over Brock Lesnar parlayed with a drug suspension warrants a crack at the crown. However, he understands White calls the shots but would encourage his boss to enforce stricter testing if the scrap is arranged. “I do not think he deserves to fight for the title now,” dos Santos deadpanned. “But if it is placed in front of me, of course I will ask you to take blood, to protect me.” It’s understandable to see where dos Santos is coming from. Overeem registered a Testosterone/Epitestosterone (T/E) ratio of 14:1 on his surprise exam, which is more than double the legal limit permitted by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Dos Santos will grant Velasquez his rematch on September 22nd. The last time they met, Velasequez was unconscious on the canvas in just 64 seconds. By the time he came to, White was wrapping his belt around the Brazilian’s waist.

Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua Claims Dana White Lied About Their Conversation

As the old adage goes, “There are always three sides to every story: His side, your side and the truth.” Although UFC president Dana White claimed Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (Pictured) informed him he’d rather be cut than to have to face up-and-comer Glover Teixeira, the former light heavyweight champ professes no such nonsense was ever uttered from his lips. “They asked...

Report: WWE & UFC speculate on Brock Lesnar’s future after Dana White meeting

Sources in both WWE and UFC are skeptical about how bad the recent meeting between Dana White and Brock Lesnar really was. White said that the meeting was one of the worse he ever had with Lesnar and not part of a WWE angle but there are people on both sides who believe it was. WWE sources almost universally believe that Lesnar has an iron-clad deal and there is no way he can fight...

After just one season under the new landscape, UFC president Dana White told Yahoo! Sports they have decided to return to a pre-recorded format. In past seasons, the first portion of each...
