A top middleweight match-up between hecotr Lombard and Yushin Okami has been made official for March 3rd at the Saitama Super Arena when the UFC returns for their annual show. The announcement was made earlier today on UFC.com Okami is coming off a decision win over Alan Belcher and will be looking to pick up his first victory of 2013 when he meet the highly touted Lombard. now 2-2 in his last four outings, Okami is close to filling the role of divisional gatekeeper as it is unlikely he will ever get another shot at middleweight kingpin Anderson Silva. After a disappointing debut loss to Tim Boetsch that derailed his hype train, Lombard followed up with an emphatic KO finish over Rousimar Palhares in his adopted homecountry of Australia. Now looking to work his way up to a title shot, Lombard will be in need of another decisive win over the durable Okami to get closer to that goal.
