The Nevada State Athletic Commission has announced that all drug tests administered prior to the UFC 156 fight card returned negative. NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer emailed the results to media members earlier today confirming that all the contestants on the fight card were in fact tested.
“All contestants tested on 2/2.” Kizer stated in the email, ”All test results are negative.”
UFC 156 featured a main event pitting featherweight champ Jose Aldo against former lightweight champ Frankie Edgar as well as a co-main event between Rashad Evans and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Alistar Overeem and Bigfoot Siva were also on the card.
UFC 156 took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
