Two lightweight contests have been added to the UFC’s next trip to Brazil, as promotion officials Tuesday announced that Thiago Tavares will face Sam Stout and Edson Barboza will meet Terry Etim at UFC 142.

Sam Stout (Pictured) will make his first post-Shawn Tompkins fight against Thiago Tavares at UFC 142. The event takes place January 14th at a yet-to-be announced city in Brazil.
Stout was slated to meet Dennis Siver a couple of weeks ago at UFC 137, but was forced to withdraw after the unexpected passing of Tompkins, his brother-in-law and longtime trainer.
