It was an ugly weekend in Vegas. And I mean that in the best way possible. Things got off to a great start with the prelims on Facebook and FX. Then we came to a screeching halt when Leben and Brunson took center stage. It was one of the saddest looking fights in the year, neither man seemed to want it. Credit to Brunson for getting the win on less than two weeks notice. Okami and Belcher followed things up by acting out the exact performance they put on together at UFC 62. Okami emerged victorious once again via unanimous decision while fans inside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena and on Twitter alike started to doze in and out and consciousness. With Tim Boetsch coming up it felt like we could be experiencing Calgary all over again. Then Boetsch Bloody Boetsch happened. Costa Philippou scored the TKO victory after a series of unfortunate events for Boetsch, (broken hand, headbutt, eyepoke) and things kinda seemed to be getting back on track.
