Have you made your pick on tomorrow's lightweight title fight? It sounds like everyone is split on the third fight between UFC champ Frank Edgar and Gray Maynard. Even the crowd equally booed the two fighters at the Toyota Center.
They both made weight easily. Maynard, trailed by diet guru Mike Dolce, was absolutely shredded. He'll be the bigger man in the cage at UFC 136. Edgar walks around at 162 while Maynard could be 170-plus by the time the introductions are made tomorrow night around 10 p.m. CT.
On stage, Edgar said he's sick of the "kid" and wants to curb "The Bully."
The crowd was fired up over this very deep card. The pay-per-view also features a second title fight as UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo defends against Kenny Florian. The 5-foot-10 Florian looked incredibly skinny on the scales at 145.
This is his second fight at the weight so he should be acclimated. It's his third shot at a UFC title.
