This friday, Dec. 30 2011, the UFC brings us UFC 141, the annual new years eve event.  UFC 141 marks the return of HW Brock Lesnar.  Standing across from Brock will be equally gigantic, Alistair Overeem.  Overeem is the current Strikeforce, Dream, and K-1 HW champion.  This will also be Overeem's debut for the UFC.  The last time we saw Brock Lesnar, he was curled up in the fetal position and getting pounded on by Cain Velasquez to lose his HW title over a year ago.  Now, he has the task of going against one of the elite strikers of the sport in Alistair Overeem.  This is an interesting match up and is a classic grappler vs. striker type match.

I believe that Brock's wrestling and cardio will be too much for the Dutch striker.  Brock's chin has been tested and it has failed him but Overeem hasn't really been tested in the takedown defense department and Brock is one the best.  Overeem's cardio will fail him late in this fight and brock will take him down for a TKO stoppage.

Prediction: Lesnar via TKO Round 3

Donald Cerrone vs. Nate Diaz- Cerrone via TKO Round 2

Jon Fitch vs. Johny Hendrick- Fitch via Unanimous Decision

Alexander Gustafsson vs. Vladimir Matyushenko- Gustafsson via TKO Round 2

Jim Hettes vs. Nam Phan- Phan Via Unanimous Decision
