After a spectacular night of MMA action, UFC president Dana White awarded Terry Etem and Rousimar Palhares each an additional $65,000 for their special performances Saturday night at “UFC 142: Aldo vs. Mendes.” Edson Barboza (Pictured) took home two bonuses.
Barboza started off 2012 is spectacular fashion by providing the UFC with a highlight reel clip they’ll be able to use for countless promos and shows for years to come. The Brazilian unleashed a vicious spinning wheel kick on Terry Etim to earn “Knockout of the Night.”
The news isn’t all bad for Etim, as he and Barboza each pocketed $65k for ‘Fight of the Night.’
Palhares made quick work of Mike Massenzio by locking in a heel hook in the 1stRound of their middleweight tussle.
UFC 142 took place inside HSBC Arena in Rio de Jenairo, Brazil.

Saturday night at UFC 142 was the time and place for one of the most dynamic ****-outs in UFC history. It happened in the first pay-per-view match of the night between lightweights, Edson Barboza and Terry Etim.
