Prior to watching Jon Jones take on Chael Sonnen at UFC 159 this weekend, fans will be treated to an equally exciting contest between middleweight contenders Michael Bisping and Alan Belcher. Belcher has been calling out Bisping for a quite a while now and the Brit has been doing what he does best–talk trash. Now, after months of back-and-forth verbal battles they will square off in the cage on Saturday night.
Belcher is actually quite similar to Bisping’s last opponent Vitor Belfort. Explosive, great hand speed, and a good Jiu-Jitsu game. However, this time Bisping will definitely be expecting a head kick as it’s something Belcher uses frequently in his fights.
On the feet, Bisping may be a bit quicker with his footwork, but Belcher is arguably far more explosive and powerful. I think that it’s a wash when you compare hand-speed, but Belcher hits harder. I also see Alan as the more diverse striker of the two. He mixes up striking techniques in his fights, adding in knees and elbows...

Jon Jones ended the night in a stool, the victim of one of the several odd injuries at UFC 159.
Fortunately for Jones, he was smiling through the pain with the UFC light heavyweight belt secured to his waist after a first-round TKO victory over Chael Sonnen at Prudential Center early Sunday morning.
Jones appeared to have dislocated the big toe on his left foot.
