Three more bouts have landed on the UFC on FOX 5 card in Seattle. UFC officials announced match-ups of featherweights Dennis Siver and Eddie Yagin, lightweights Michael Chiesa and Rafaello Oliveira, and bantamweights Scott Jorgensen and John Albert.
Siver and Yagin were scheduled to meet at the cancelled UFC 151. It was the final bout to be rescheduled to a new event. Siver (20-8) has won five of his last six outings. He dropped to featherweight in his last bout where he earned a decision win over Diego Nunes at UFC on Fuel TV 2. Yagin (16-5-1) will be making his third appearance inside the octagon where he has a 1-1 record. He is coming off a split decision win over Mark Hominick at UFC 145.
Ultimate Fighter 15 winner Michael Chiesa (8-0) will make his first appearance since the show’s finale where he defeated Al Iaquinta by submission. Oliveira (15-5) put an end to a two fight skid with a unanimous decision win over Yoislandy Izquierdo at UFC 148.
Jorgensen (13-6), a former bantamweight title challenger, has gone just 2-3 over last five outings. He holds wins over Jeff Curran and Ken Stone in the UFC. Albert (7-3) will also be looking to right the ship as he has also lost consecutive fights by submission in the first round. He defeated Dustin Pague by technical knockout at The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale.
UFC on FOX 5 will take place from the KeyArena in Seattle on December 8th. The event will be headlined by lightweight champion Ben Hendeson putting his title on the line against Nate Diaz.
