UFC’s Sean O’Malley Blasts Chito Vera for Cheating Claims; ‘Can’t Wait’ to Repeat History

Sean O'Malley has simply had enough of Chito Vera's excuses. 

The UFC Bantamweight Champion didn't leave much doubt that he was the better fighter with a total domination of his rival Vera at UFC 299. The main event was scored five rounds to none across the board for O'Malley to retain his title in Miami.

Days later, Ecuador's Vera claimed O'Malley had cheated on fight night by greasing up his braided hair. 'Sugar' brushed it off at first, asking his former foe to show his damaged face as a result.

Now, O'Malley is taking a full swing at Vera for his post-fight accusations.

"Motherf***** is a fake ass b****. Chito sucks, f*** him," O'Malley said on his YouTube channel. "I know s*** that people don't know. That would change their minds on him, but I'm not gonna go out there and post it. The DM s*** was real. I was in his f****** head. I was his brain. I was thinking for him. F*** that guy, bro. 

"Then, he comes out saying, I'm greasing my hair. Bro didn't even get close enough to smell my hair, let alone think [I greased my hair]. What was grease in my hair gonna do?"

The entirety of O'Malley vs. Vera occurred on the feet with O'Malley vastly outworking Vera in the striking department. While the title fight didn't hit the ground, Vera backed his cheating claims on 'The MMA Hour':

"Every time I was grabbing Sean, it was like grabbing a fish out of the water... maybe he didn't attempt to, but he was extremely greasy on his head. When I hurt him at the end of the round, I grab his head that knee would slip. All my knees slip by really close.

"Maybe if he would've been dry, I could've hurt him, maybe not. I'm still where I am for a reason. I lost a fight and I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna find excuse. But... his head was extremely greasy"

O'Malley apparently has a lot more to offer in his war or words with Vera, but insists on taking the high road. 

"Oh god, I wanted to... I'm just, I'm like, be the bigger man. Don't need to ruin his f****** life. You already ruined his career. Just f****** be the bigger man."

The 29 year-old is already planning his next move following his first successful title defense. O'Malley's next opponent is likely to be #1 contender Merab Dvalishvili, but that wouldn't stop him from asking for featherweight champ Ilia Topuria in his post-fight interview.

Instead of more cheating accusations being tossed around, the UFC Champ faces the narrative that he's 'ducking' Dvalishvili, one that he really can't wrap his head around.

"I'm going to the UFC here in a few, in a week or so, or whenever. I don't remember which day I'm gonna go to UFC, talk to them, figure out what's next. But, it's so crazy that people think I'm ducking Merab, but I'm calling out Ilia," O'Malley continued.

"I don't get where they see like, Ilia's scary compared to [Dvalishvili]. Merab's a dangerous fight, very well could f****** beat me. Anybody could beat me. Cheeto could have beat me. Ilia could've beat you... They're gonna say, 'He's ducking Ilia!'"

Regardless of all the noise, Sean O'Malley believes he'll stop Merab Dvalishvili like he did his closest teammate, former champ Aljamain Sterling to capture the title in August. 

"Well, I just close my eyes and I cannot wait to see Merab standing across from me seeing Aljo just frowning in the corner, seeing Matt Serra just sad. Ray Longo, [expletive] in there like, 'F***, it's about to happen again. I can't wait for that s***, baby."
