Gegard Mousasi (pictured) was pegged as a whopping 14-to-1 odds-on favorite against Ilir Latifi at UFC on FUEL TV 9. For obvious reasons, most fans expected Mousasi to quickly dispose of the last-second substitute. However, Mousasi had many baffled when he wasn’t able to muster up more than his lightning-fast left jab on Latifi for a unanimous decision victory. Nonetheless, UFC...
This Saturday the UFC returns to Sweden for the second time for another installment of The UFC on Fuel TV series. However, less than a week out from fight night the main event fell prey to the dreaded injury bug when Alexander Gustafsson did not receive clearance from the Swedish Mixed Martial Arts Federation to compete due to a cut above his left eye. The UFC certainly isn’t happy...
The good news for Ross Pearson, the left foot he injured minutes before taking center stage at UFC on FUEL TV 9 isn’t broken after all. The bad news for “The Real Deal,” his foot looks like it belongs on Professor Klump’s leg.
After rallying to post a vicious TKO victory over Ryan Couture on Saturday, Pearson revealed he hurt his foot in the locker room during warmups. The...
Imagine what kind of night it would’ve been if lightweight Ross Pearson decided that he couldn’t go on to fight Ryan Couture after breaking his foot warming up. First Gustaffson, now this? But the British banger carried on with his bum foot in impressive fashion, stopping Ryan Couture for the first time in the fighter’s life. Pearson admitted he broke the foot immediately after...

Not only did Gegard Mousasi enter Saturday’s fight against Ilir Latifi with a knee so busted up he’ll require surgery within the coming days, but Ross Pearson may have posted a TKO victory over Ryan Couture with a broken foot – one he suffered just minutes before taking center stage.
“I think I broke...
Ryan Couture made UFC history Saturday when he followed in his dad’s footsteps by fighting inside the Octagon, becoming the only father-son duo to compete for the planet’s premier mixed martial arts promotion. However, unlike with UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture, Ryan lost his big league debut.
Ross Pearson (pictured) is the man who rained on the Coutures’ parade.

With just one day remaining until showtime, UFC on FUEL TV 9‘s revised billboard has been released. Given the fact Latifi saved the show by stepping up to fight Gegard Mousasi on Tuesday, we’ll forgive the promotion for the ad’s late arrival.
Mousasi was supposed...
