Rousey vs. Tate II will close out the UFC's 2013 campaign 'Alpha' Cat Zingano will be unable to coach the next season of the Ultimate Fighter opposite Ronda Rousey due to a knee injury that will keep her on the shelf for up to nine months. This means that Zingano will not be able to compete for Rousey's title at a yet to be numbered year end December pay-per-view either. So who will take over the women's #1 contender duties? It will be none other than the fighter that Zingano stopped to get this opportunity of a lifetime - Miesha 'Cupcake' Tate. For the UFC, and the brand new FOX Sports 1 channel that will debut on August 17th, this news promises ratings gold. It's no secret that there is no love lost between Rousey and Tate. You could cut the tension with a knife in any room that these two shared leading up to their instant classic of a title fight last winter in Columbus. You have to feel for Cat Zingano as she earned this shot with her gutsy victory over Miesha Tate at the TUF 17 Finale. That being said watching Tate and Rousey go at it as coaches will for sure be fireworks. Really looking forward to this season!

Ronda Rousey goes off on Bryan Caraway and Miesha Tate
When fans talk, UFC president Dana White listens. Unfortunately for Lyoto Machida (pictured), when they don’t talk, White listens even more. Although Machida was promised next dibs (again) at reigning UFC light heavyweight king Jon Jones after posting an uneventful split decision victory over Dan Henderson at UFC 157, the fact that Jones has already choked “The Dragon” unconscious...
Conspiracy theorists went wild Tuesday when the UFC announced a knee injury forced Cat Zingano to withdraw from coaching on “The Ultimate Fighter 18.” How convenient that UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey (pictured) now gets to battle bitter rival Miesha Tate for six weeks of filming – they said.
That’s what was supposed to happen all along – they said.

Move aside Machida.
It looks like you’re going to have to stay in line. Over the past few weeks Alexander Gustafsson has made it quite clear that he is interested in a fight with UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Jon Jones. “The Mauler” also said he would be willing to fight “The Dragon” Lyoto Machida in a number one contender fight.

Part of the fun of the UFC’s new women’s division was that, aside from praying that someone would ever stand a chance against Ronda Rousey, the new female fighters were all hungry to prove that they belong. That’s why most UFC fans were pleasantly surprised when Cat Zingano’s win over Miesha Tate at the Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale was not only intense and entertaining, but...
When Broadway star and pigeon hero Mike Tyson showed up on camera at Saturday night’s UFC 160 PPV, some people wondered why the heck the former boxing champ was there, while most of us just assumed that it was because he wanders around Las Vegas during his downtime and sometimes happens to stumble into major venues. But he was actually there to hang with his bro and UFC legend...
