Gokhan Saki vs. Badr Hari is quickly approaching (January 28). Gokhan Saki looks forward to the opportunity for revenge, as he lost a late-notice fight to Hari back in 2004. Badr Hari is saying that this will be his last kickboxing match before transitioning to pro boxing. It sounds like Saki is also looking to make some moves of his own -- to pro boxing or mixed martial arts.
On January 28 the kickboxing community will sadly witness the exit of two of its contemporary staples. Gokhan Saki and Badr Hari will fight what they are saying will be their last kickboxing matches (we hope not!) to transition into boxing. The fighters will meet for the second time in their careers (Hari defeated Saki via TKO back in 2004) at an It's Showtime event in the Netherlands.
Two kickboxing staple fighters will end extensive K-1 careers at It's Showtime 55. The January 28, 2012 bout between Badr Hari and Gokhan Saki will mark the retirement from kicksport for both fighters.
May they leave the sport with a BANG!
