The NASCAR season is back upon us and it is time to get you caught up with everything that happened in the offseason. Start ‘N’ Park Blog will be going through their list of drivers running the full schedule in 2013 and telling you what you can expect from those drivers in the new year. Today’s entry is the driver of the #56 NAPA Toyota, Martin Truex, Jr. Driver: Martin Truex, Jr. #56 Sponsor(s): NAPA Make: Toyota Team: Michael Waltrip Racing Crew Chief: Chad Johnston 2012 Finish: 11th What’s new for 2013: No changes for this team. Mike’s Rank: 16th Mike’s Take: If anyone takes a hit from the MWR hangover it will be Truex. Good he made the Chase, but he never won. In fact, he hasn’t won since his rookie year in 2007. He needs to win and I think he’d be happier with winning a race or two and finishing 16th than finishing 11th again without a win. Jason’s Rank: 10th Jason’s Take: Truex Jr. will repeat what he did last year by being very consistent, missing victory lane but coming very close and not being able to do anything in the Chase. Truex Jr will be consistent in the regular season and make the Chase but not be able to do anything in the Chase and come home empty handed again. Brandon’s Rank: 10th Brandon’s Take: Truex Jr made the Chase in 2012, but he did not have the success he wanted to in the Chase.  He finished 11th and looks to get his first Sprint Cup win at MWR. Brittany’s Rank: 19th Brittany’s Take: He’s due for a win, but not sure he has what it takes to do it.
