Dave Blaney and Mike Skinner swapped rides prior to the start of the Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Blaney who has driven the #36 for Tommy Baldwin Racing was planning to participate in the full race but came down with a fight of kidney stones Monday night. In turn Mike Skinner who had been scheduled to start and park the #60 car was allowed to race the full event. Blaney pulled off the track on lap 2 with a “vibration” to finish 43rd while Skinner rolled around for 323 circuits and a 27th place finish. Blaney is expected to return to the #36 car.
