Brian Vickers was the fastest of 43 cars in opening practice on Friday. The driver of the No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine turned his fastest lap on his eighth trip around the 2.5 mile tricky triangle. Jimmie Johnson, last year’s winner of this event, was the fifth fastest car. Qualifying for the Pocono 400 will take place later Friday 4:40 pm ET on Fox Sports 1.
