Dania Patrick is arguably one of the most successful female Motorsports athletes ever. She is the first and only female racer to win an IndyCar race and holds multiple records in NASCAR that might not get broken anytime soon. Her competitive mindset has been one of the main reasons for her impressive career.

Recently in an interview with ex-NASCAR driver Kenny Wallace, for his YouTube channel, the racer turned entrepreneur detailed how her mindset works. Danica Patrick pointed out that, unlike the stereotypical “caretaking, neurotic, careful and not wanting confrontation” mindset of woman she has a more competitive spirit.

The way my mind works is not a natural way for a woman's mind to work. Normally it's more caretaking, neurotic, careful, not wanting confrontation, not wanting to be aggressive, and almost even not wanting to be competitive. I have a couple of friends where there's just not a competitive bone in their body. Danica Patrick told Kenny Wallace.

This same mindset might be the reason that enables her to still speak out about everything she feels important without any hesitation. At the same time her bold statements have put her in some controversies as well.

Danica Patrick explains her don’t want to get beaten by a girl mindset

One of the reason why many NASCAR driver always made sure to score better fishes than Danica Patrick; during her days in the stock car racing was the mindset of not losing to a girl. Patrick has the same guy mindset and doesn’t want to get beaten by a girl on the track as well.

I don't think people want to be beat by a girl. And you know why? Because I didn't want to get beat by a girl, I absolutely know how it feels. I saw myself like a winner, like a guy and really competitive and really good and I didn't want to get beat by a girl. Danica Patrick said.

Patrick in the same interview had also addressed her political views and the backlash she received for some of the conservative comments she made. She also broke down her life post racing and the new things she is exploring in life.
