The NASCAR Xfinity Series took a week off but this week they are back in action at COTA and Hailie Deegan has a new sponsor. Deegan is riding with country music singer Cody Jinks and has an outlaw-worthy paint scheme for it as well.

Cody Jinks is one of the most successful independent artists in country music right now. With the launch of his own record label recently, Late August Records, and his subsequent album through that label, Jinks is getting into the NASCAR game.

The musician has been around the NASCAR world for a few years. He has a few connections and friends in the industry. Now, as Hailie Deegan takes to the track in front of the Austin, Texas crowd she’ll have a Texas-sized paint scheme.

Showing off the “Change The Game” album art on the hood, this paint scheme came together quite nicely.

“For me personally, it’s an honor to have my name on the No. 15 Ford Mustang driven by Hailie Deegan!” Jinx said in a statement via AM Racing.

Here is the video reveal for the sponsorship and Jinks’ reaction to the announcement.

“It’s no surprise to see me and some of my crew around NASCAR. We’ve been friends with a lot of folks from various teams through the years. Was just a matter of time before doing something like this. It’s an honor to have my name on the number 15 Ford driven by Hailie Deegan!”

So, Deegan pulls in another sponsor to her No. 15 team. While the season hasn’t gone the way she hoped it would early on, there is plenty of time to turn things around. COTA will be the first step in turning this season around.

Hailie Deegan looking for ‘great finish’ at COTA

Circuit of the Americas is a fun track that NASCAR has really made its own in recent years. However, this will be the first time Deegan has raced at the track in the Xfinity Series. She has a career-best finish of P14 at the track in the Truck Series, but it won’t be so easy in the Xfinity Series.

It feels like the field is stacked going into this week. AJ Allmendinger, Shane van Gisbergen, Daniil Kvyat, and the usual suspects like Justin Allgaier, Cole Custer, and Sam Mayer will all be in this race.

Still, Hailie Deegan has high hopes.

“I am beyond thrilled about this partnership with Cody Jinks this weekend at Circuit of the Americas,” Deegan said in a statement via AM Racing. “Cody’s energy and growing popularity will undoubtedly bring us some attention for the race this weekend.

“I am honored to represent him, promote his new record, and earn him a great finish with our No. 15 Cody Jinks – Change The Game Ford Mustang on Saturday afternoon.”

So, get ready for Xfinity Series action to return. Practice and qualifying will be Friday at 5:30 PM EST on FS1. Xfinity will then race at 5:00 PM EST on Saturday, also on FS1.
