Jason Leffler has been named the primary driver of the #18 Toyota Tundra of Kyle Busch Motorsports for the 2012 Camping World Truck Series. Leffler is to drive 14 races behind the wheel of the #18 truck and will start by competing in the season opening event at Daytona International Speedway.
Last season Leffler drove the #38 Nationwide series car for Turner Motorsports and finished 6th in the final driver standings. At seasons end owner Steve Turner announced that Leffler would not return to the team in 2012.
The truck will have sponsorship from Dollar General in the events scheduled to be driven by Leffler. They still seek sponsorship for the remaining 8 races on the schedule.
In 46 career starts in the truck series Leffer has a win and 19 top-10 finishes. He finished 4th in the final standings for 2002.
