Tyler Reddick laments his 'really aggressive move' that RUINED Chris Buescher’s race at Darlington

I made a really aggressive move and I was hoping I was going to clear him. When I realized, I wasn’t going to, I tried to check up and not slide up into him. I wish I wouldn’t have done that, unfortunately. I completely understand why he’s that mad. He did nothing wrong. Tyler Reddick said.

Chris Buescher was clearly frustrated and disappointed with Reddick after the race. He charged towards the No:45 driver and confronted him about the incident. The 23XI Racing driver was understanding of his mistake and admitted to the No:17 Ford driver that he “f**ked up”. Buescher left the scene reminding him that he should have raced respectfully.

Tyler Reddick is disappointed in himself

The Toyota driver went on to talk about his misshape and admitted that eh should have done better. He is disappointed in himself over the incident as he took out someone, who has raced him very cleanly in the past and on the race day itself. Buescher also made similar comments during the pit-road confrontation.

I’m just disappointed it played out the way that it did and took him out of the race as well. That was not the goal there. If I was going to go for it, I was hoping I was going to clear him. If I hit the wall, pop a tire, I take myself out, I can live with that. It’s tough to use someone up and took their chance away of winning the race that’s raced me really cleanly. Reddick and Buescher seems to understand whose fault the incident, hence it won’t take much time for them to get over the potential beef. The No:45 Camry would surly be more careful while racing the Ford driver in the future, keeping the confrontation in his mind.
