In the immortal words (sort of) of Rick Pitino... " Michael Jordan is not walking through that door... Scottie Pippen is not walking through that door..."
Of course, this Bulls team is doing it in different ways. They've got the speedy point guard, the inside-outside threat, and the interior defense... does that make them the favorites in the East?
Look, I love the Bulls. Hinrich could be the steal of the 2003 Draft, Ben Gordon is a legitimate 20 point threat, and Andres Nocioni is a dangerous player who is getting more familiar with the NBA. Ben Wallace and P.J. Brown make their inside a lot tougher than Tyson Chandler ever did.
They've got what it takes, I believe that they'll edge the Pistons and fight with the Cavs for the Central Division. It could be the running of the Bulls all over again... but maybe not.
