The Miami Heat have signed Michael Beasley to a non-guaranteed contract worth a bit over $1 million. Beasley was originally selected by the Miami Heat with their #2 selection in the 2008 draft. When did Miami Heat’s legacy start? Did it start when LeBron James ,Chris Bosh, and Ray Allen joined the team, or did it start when Dwyane Wade led the Heat to their first NBA title? Opinions vary, but in my opinion, I think Dwyane Wade along side Shaquille O’Neal, started the foundation for Miami’s legacy. The year of 2006 was the first NBA finals appearance by the Heat where...

Kudos goes over to Matt Moore over at CBS Sports for tracking down this quote by Miami Heat guard Ray Allen about his game-tying shot in game six of the 2013 NBA Finals.

Just as San Antonio Spurs fans begin to cope with the devastating Game 7 loss to the Miami Heat, a new story comes out.
This time, however, it’s not about Ray Allen’s foot being out of bounds, or even Danny Green showing up to the same club as LeBron James and teammates, it has to do with boxing star Floyd “Money” Mayweather.

What is a leader in your opinion? Someone that shouts at people, keeps them in line? Someone that leads by example? Someone that can will their players on from the depths of despair? To me it’s a mix of the last two, and anything but the first.
