Why are they here: They went from doormat to title contender real fast in the last two years with the breakout rookie year of Blake Griffin followed by the acquisition of Chris Paul. Add in Chauncey Billups, Caron Butler and D’Andre Jordan and they boast potentially the best starting 5 in the league after the Heat.
Most important player: Chauncey Billups. I believe you know what you are going to get from Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. Billups, on the other hand, is a bit of a delicate flower who doesn’t like change and believes himself to be somewhat better than he is.
