Kobe Bryant wasn't much of a factor in the NBA All-Star game last night until the last two minutes of the game. Kobe decided to take Michael Jordan's comments about him being better than LeBron James, and prove to the world that Jordan was right. Kobe took it into his own hands to stop LeBron James from leading his team to a comeback late in the game, and he did just that with two huge blocks. Chris Paul was your MVP with 20 points and 15 assists for the Western Conference who won the game 143-138 over the East. Check out the top plays from the game below.

LeBron James and his place among the greatest of all-time will be debated long after he has retired from the game.
His recent run of play has been not nothing short of remarkable.
Over the past ten games James has averaged 31. points per game and has shot.621 percent.
His hot streak has collided directly with the week-long celebration of Michael Jordan’s 50th birthday.
The Pistons' package for Kobe Bryant included a combination of their core players and draft picks, according to sources.
Over All-Star weekend Kobe Bryant stopped by the Nike Lounge. During an interview with former pro Damon Jones for a Nike Basketball segment called “The Athlete Lounge,” Bryant laughed about [...]
The final minutes of the All-Star game seemed to turn into a Kobe vs. LeBron matchup, and the 15-time All-Star made a statement with two game-changing blocks on James:
Remember when Kobe Bryant almost became a Piston?
Most fans don't, judging from the surprise that spread across Twitter onMonday night when a Yahoo! story about the death of Los Angeles Lakers owner Jerry Buss mentioned the discussions he had with Bryant about the deal in 2007.
As reported at the time, the Pistons had worked out a trade with the Lakers that would have brought...
Kobe wants Dwight Howard to stop clowning around, but Dwight doesn’t know how to act any other way. People may not like Kobe Bryant, but no one questions his desire to be great and his work ethic.
That is what gets him the respect from peers and fans alike, but I don’t think anyone respects Dwight Howard right now, on or off the court.
Here is just a latest example why from Larry...
Kobe Bryant has one season remaining on his current deal with the Lakers.
HOUSTON The weekend started on Friday, when LeBron James started talking about Michael Jordan talking about LeBron James.
This is the nature of NBA All-Star weekend, which finishes with the All-Star game at 8 p.m. ET Sunday at Toyota Center in Houston. It is a weekend for sorting things out whos better than whom, what is the state of the NBA, how popular is basketball globally...
8 a.m. ET: LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and the rest of basketball’s brightest stars are set to share the court in Houston. The NBA All-Star Game tips off Sunday with leaguewide bragging rights on the line.
James Harden of the host Rockets may have trouble cracking his team’s rotation for once. The Western Conference squad is the deeper of the two, but the East will...
You can make an argument that Lebron James, Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant all could be rated the number one player of All-Time. If I was a betting man, Jordan would be the number one choice. The game in the Jordan era was different, more physical, lots of hand checking and harder fouls were allowed. Second for me would be Kobe. He has the work ethic of MJ and a drive of his...
Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharoah is a master impressionist, and his Stephan A. Smith is right on par with his Will Smith, Denzel Washington and Jay-Z.
SNL mocked Smith’s boisterous claims that he has has more insight because he knows athletes personally. According to Pharoah’s Smith, he has shared a plate of spaghetti Lady & the Tramp-style with Steve Nash and taken...
MIAMI -- In their 25-year history, the Miami Heat have won two championships, including one last season. Now they're setting their sights on something they've never done.
The Heat never have had the NBA's best regular-season record.
But if the Heat and LeBron James continue to play the way they have lately, it could happen. The Heat (36-14), who play their first game...
Want to see hear what it sounds like when LeBron James sings? Yes, we know you do and thankfully for us he did during the 2013 NBA All-Star Game, on the jumbotron no less.
Steve Keane and I look at Michael Jordan at 50, and debate how Lebron James and others would fare during MJ’s era.
