TEAMS: Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks
PHILADELPHIA -- Jrue Holiday almost single-handedly carried the Philadelphia 76ers in Sunday's victory over the Phoenix Suns. On Tuesday, he had plenty of help. After a scintillating 33-point, 13-assist performance two nights ago, Holiday followed that up with an 18-point, seven-assist effort in a 100-98 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night at the Wells Fargo Center. Evan Turner led the Sixers (9-6) with 22 points and Thaddeus Young also contributed 20 points. Rookie point guard Maalik Wayns played his finest game of the season with 10 points off the bench. With the game tied at 81-81 in the fourth quarter, the Sixers ripped off a 10-0 run. Young had four points during the spurt, but Spencer Hawes, Dorell Wright and Nick Young also had two points each. The Sixers' victory spoiled the return of forward Elton Brand, who was handed the amnesty clause by the Sixers following last season. Brand was terrific the entire game and wound up with a season-high 1...

Jrue Holiday is in his fourth season with the Philadelphia 76ers and has emerged as one of the team’s top players. He is leading Philly in points, assists, and minutes per game. Given that he’s the center of attention on the team, one would figure those running the website for the team shop would know how to spell his name. Apparently not. As our friend Spike Eskin shared with...

Andrew Bynum sued by neighbors, accused of using drugs, brandishing guns, blasting music
Andrew Bynum is involved in a lawsuit with his former California neighbors that features plenty of mudslinging from both sides, TMZ reports.
According to Thirty Mile Zone, the current Philadelphia 76ers center filed a lawsuit in L.A. Superior Court accusing his former neighbors, the Becketts, of being violent and racist. His lawsuit reportedly claims the Becketts have objected to...
Thaddeus Young Says Sixers Are An Elite Team
Following last night’s 100-98 victory over the Mavericks, Sixers forward Thaddeus Young joined the GameTime crew to talk about the season thus far. I am trying not to be that mad about this situation. I mean, all he did was go out bowling for Christ sake. It was not like he went out to the club and got a little tipsy and tried to do the “Percolater’ or something like that. All he did was go “Glow-Bowling”. Well, [...](Read more...)

Andrew Bynum Fires A Weapon
So, he jacked up his knee again because he wanted to go bowling.
What’s the next logical thing to do after bowling…..shooting……of course!
What I wanna know is how the city of Philadelphia feels about Andrew Bynum being so active out and about, when he should be strictly focused on his recovery.
Cause that damn knee is so sensitive…..made of glass, apparently.
Mavericks-76ers Preview
Jrue Holiday is living up to the four-year, $41 million contract extension Philadelphia rewarded him with at the start of the season. He has assumed a leadership role, and in the 76ers' last game, he carried the team to victory with perhaps the best performance of his career.
His worst offensive showing, however, came in his most recent game against the Dallas Mavericks.

Sixers Advertise “Drew Holiday” Jersey
Its looks like the Philadelphia Sixers Shop Team was getting a little too excited during the Cyber Monday craze and didn’t bother to make sure they spelled their OWN players names correctly.
Jrue [not Drew] Holiday is in his 4th season with the Sixers, so its not like the team should be surprised by the unique spelling of his name.
Does someone get fired for this?
