The Sixers, awaiting Bynum's return from his latest knee woes and his debut with his new team, moved to 3-2 on the season. Philadelphia, which allowed just 62 points while beating the host New Orleans Hornets on the first stop on the trip, overcame a 1-for-10 shooting start and took an 11-10 lead. The Sixers led by as many as 16 and held off every charge by the Celtics, who saw a two-game winning streak end to fall to 2-3, 1-2 at home.
