The Phoenix Suns announced the launch of the new marketing campaign which could follow us for years to come as it is built to create a community of Suns' fans around the World. The idea seems actually good in terms of concept and communication and I just hope it will be intended to strengthen the Suns' brand equity (as they say on Madison Avenue) and create some new opportunities for fans to interact and have some fun together.
Let's just hope it's not a way to get some more money off our pockets with things like paid membership: I am a Suns fan…I already pay taxes, thanks! and I don't feel the need to become a paid citizen of some new Nation.
