Well I agree Boozer would great for either team. Detroit is rebuilding from their championship team starting by the ill-fate trade that gave away Billups. New Jersey on the other hand is always a player away in trade scenero's. Enter two other teams Miami with D.Wade & Cleveland with L.James booz would be a good running partner with both teams. So let the trade derby of the off-season begin. Oh thats right we have a championship to play Orlando in 7.
That’s the word from Peter Vecsey of the New York Post, anyway. Apparently, rising free agent-of-choice Carlos Boozer is telling confidants he’s either going to Detroit or New Jersey — only way the capsized Nets pull that off is by doing a sign-and-trade. Utah seems more interested in re-signing Paul Millsap (and justifiably so). It’s not [...]

If this is true I can understand Detroit or New Jersey they need the help, what I can't understand is what the hell Utah is thinking ! ! ! ! !
-
They're thinking that Millsap is younger, cheaper, less injury prone and on his way to being just as effective as Boozer.
-
I like Paul Millsaps game but I just think this is to much of a gamble.
-
I thought Detroit was trying to clear salary for the 2010 offseason.
-
I thought Miami was in the picture? I mean he has a house there plus D-Wade

Miami gave up their chance to sign him when they acquired Jermaine O'Neal. His contract ran a year longer than Marion's. To acquire Boozer, they would need to execute a sign-and-trade.

Overrated!

It must suck being an NBA player living in Utah. I visited a friend who went to school there, and it sucked just being there 3 days.

Man dont be hatin on Utah. It's no Cali, but people love it here!

The Cavs could do that with a Varejo for Boozer deal on the famous sign-and-trade. I'm however hopeful the Cavs can pull off some trade or deals that will give them a low post presence to team with Ilgauskas, a big shooting guard & a possible point guard vet or youngster to groom. My names are Amare no.1 Boozer no.2 Villenueva no.3 for the front court. Artest no. 1 an offensive/defensive big guard & then maybe a Watson for the backup point guard. Its strange to talk about so many weaknesses in a Cleveland team that won 66 regular season games & cruised through the first 2 rounds of the playoffs.

The Boozer rumor
From Peter Vecsey of the New York Post:
Apparently, rising free agent-of-choice Carlos Boozer is telling confidants he’s either going to Detroit or New Jersey — only way the capsized Nets pull that off is by doing a sign-and-trade. Word has it Jersey will have but three assistants next season and all must take pay cuts.
