The Parallel Careers of Gilbert Arenas and Vince Young
Remember this commercial?
It was filmed in August 2007 and released later that year on November 5th.
At the time of filming, Arenas was battling back from his first knee surgery resulting from the original injury that occurred on April 4, 2007. He would appear in the Wizards’ first eight games of the 07-08 season before shutting [...]
What is THIS all about?
Last night I noticed something a little bit disturbing. No it wasn't the Wizards terrible play, although to be honest that did make me feel quite ill. No this was much more disturbing indeed. Of course as this picture illustrates I'm refering to the knee brace that Wizards star Gilbert Arenas was wearing on his left knee.
This was the first time all season that Arenas was spotted...
Morning brew, daylight savings time edition
Did Gilbert Arenas have a turn-back-the-clock moment on Saturday in the Wizards' home opener? Or were we the only ones turning back the clock as daylight savings time came to an end? Arenas put on a good show which Gene Wang writes about...

Cavaliers expect revamped Washington Wizards to bring plenty of passion to Tuesday's game
The Cavaliers and Wizards, minus rapper Soulja Boy, renew their sometimes-heated rivalry Tuesday night at The Q.
Balance key as Wizards win
He may be only three regular-season games into his tenure as coach of the Washington Wizards, but Flip Saunders already is having to familiarize himself with an all-too-common Wizards tradition: reshuffling his lineup and rotation because of injuries. He already was without Antawn Jamison when Caron Butler bruised his left knee in Friday's loss at Atlanta. So Saunders had to adjust...
