THE `BURBS - Roy Hibbert may have ended last season as the Pacers starting center, but the second-year player has to continue to get better if he expects to start this season. Just as he did during the team's media day last week, coach Jim O'Brien said starting positions are up in the air (unless your last name is Granger, Ford or Murphy). If early indications mean anything, Solomon Jones is not going to just hand the starting job over to Hibbert. You can't blame Solo for thinking that way because it's not like he's playing on a team that's a lock to make the playoffs. "I think it's wide open," O'Brien said after practice Wednesday.
