Isiah to be Paid $18M to Fetch Coffee for Walsh

OK, so let us recap.

1. Isiah Thomas is fired as coach but Walsh indicates he will remain with the organization due to his tremendous value and ability to contribute to the success of the team and franchise

2. It's revealed that Isiah will report directly to Donnie Walsh

3. Thomas will have "no official" title

4. Zeke is banned from having any contact with the team

So, here's our question? What exactly is Zeke going to do for the Knicks? Our guess, absolutely nothing. While we welcome that concept, some could argue Thomas is getting a pretty decent deal...

He better make sure he does not run into any players. Rules are rules.

walsh said tonight , contact with players was never discussed.

Sounds like a good job to me. Except for that part where your whole office laughs at you the whole time. Not with you, AT YOU.

Who says he'll be in the office? He'll be chillin somewhere. Would the Knicks FIRE THIS GUY ALREADY!!!

This is progress - he is being paid less than Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis and at least he is adding some value

racial discrimination.....y isnt that lil bitch spike lee bumpin his gums bout this.....bamboozelement

I'm sure there's only one reason for this screwed up arrangement: cash money. The Knicks probably let Zeke negotiate a huge payment if he's let out of his contract before it terminates, and it's cheaper to keep paying him to do nothing rather than write him a gigantic check. Maybe Isaiah has some incriminating evidence against Dolan, or maybe the two are secretly lovers? Isaiah did kiss Magic back in the day :) (If you can't tell, I'm joking about that last bit)

I think he came up very lucky after all of the accusations against him and how he pretty much drove the Knicks into the ground!
