Despite having her name in the tabloid headlines for a week, Kesha Ni'Cole Nichols waited until today before finally making the rounds with the media, re-living her broken engagement to Richard Jefferson while attempting to dispel several rumors about the whole ordeal. Jefferson has been widely ridiculed for his decision to call off the engagement via email, but as Nichols admitted during an interview with Extra, the email merely confirmed a conversation the couple started the night before. "We had pretty much decided we were going to call the wedding off but just wanted one night apart to really reflect and think about everything... When I got here [New York] Monday, I found the email that pretty much said what we had talked about before. I wasn't in shock."
