  As much as Boston fans love Kevin McHale, it goes to show rhat despite being among the best players, it doesn't necessarily translate to the X's and O's. Or the front office.
  It really takes a delicate touch, a deep mind, and the personality skills of a pre-school teacher to get some of today's players to come together and play a team game.
  IE - some guy named Kobe.

    davejb851,No Disrespect but Kevin McHale was with the Timberwolves front office for 16yrs,so He had to know a little something don't cha think??? Was there when they drafted Kevin Garnett,and even though Minnesota has never really gotten over the hump he did a pretty decent job now as for his coaching abilities that's another story that Franchise has to do something to turn it around..

  McHale might be a better coach than GM. Now this frees him up to work for the Celtics anyways. Danny Ainge owes him a job for that ridiculous KG trade.
