SLAM Online:
That’s the latest word on Rumor Street: “The Knicks have until Thursday to negotiate exclusively with ex-Clipper Jason Williams, who has decided to end his retirement. By claiming Williams on waivers, the Knicks acquired the Clippers’ exclusive negotiating rights. But a person with direct knowledge of the Knicks’ plans said they intend to trade Williams if they can reach agreement with him on a contract. Since they acquired his rights by claiming him on waivers, the Knicks wouldn’t have to wait the customary three months to trade him. It’s a risk-free way to acquire another minor asset without incurring any cost.”

You may have seen the item on a man who hacked markmadsen.com in order to sell it to White Vanilla himself. But it's worth delving into it to debate just what is the most insane part of this story. Mark Madsen Will Purchase Your Illegal eBay Crap
My big Mark Madsen memory was his dunk against Rhode Island that sealed the deal and powered Stanford to the NCAA Final Four in 1998. White Chocolate to the Big Apple?

The Ramon Sessions rumors haven’t gone anywhere. The Allen Iverson one makes sense to me (really, Knicks, bring in the Answer for a season! Sell some tickets, score some points, and maintain your 2010 cap number…). But before the Knicks sign either of those guys, they’re first exploring bringing in another player who might sell a few tickets: Jason...
