Kwame-pic-lakers
There's an argument that Kwame Brown might be the biggest bust in NBA Draft history, but the far less apparent yet nonetheless valid argument might be that he's the most valuable asset in NBA history.

  • Absolute and complete, FLUSH!!! At this point, one can only hope pride would kick in and he'd become a serviceable player.
  • Michael Ruffin is better than Kwame Brown ,Ruffin is a good player and China Yi needs to study from him
  • he plays like a scared little boy worst pick ever
  • The guy's so bad, he comes off the bench for Darko Milicic now.
  • Biggest bust pick ever...i think so based not only on him going #1 but also who drafted him MJ and the hype that he had.

He will also go down as the player involved in the most lopsided trade ever...that deal the Lakers got for Gasol is unmatched. If the Lakers win the title they should send Kwame a ring thanking him for being so lazy and soft. Now if only the Knicks could do the same thing with Eddy Curry
  • I would pick Kurt Rambis over this chump
  • Rambis had fire............Kwame look like he waitin for the game to be over half the time
  • He looks like the biggest bust to me! I was talking with a co-worker the other day, still confused and trying to figure out the logic of giving up ANYBODY for Kwame, and my co-worker said something that would validate the 'valuable asset' argument... "You can't teach height"... That may be true, but damn! LOL! I am very happy for the Lakers, though...they pulled off a good one! LMAO!
  • such a bust..........worst hands in the Asociation of all times!.........texasgirl knows whats up

  • He is listed at 6'11, but if anybody that follows basketball knows half the time the heighth they give is a little off... Take Candace Parker for instance, they have her listed as 6'3-6'4. I have stood right beside her and might give here 6'2 1/2, but most likely just 6'2, which makes it even more impressive for her to dunk it. I am 6'4, but you never know with Kwame he doesnt look that big..
  • +1 for standing next to beautiful candace.
  • I am pretty sure KG has played more playoff games than everyone on the Wizards roster, so I can't really agree with you that he is less valuable than Kwame Brown.

Here's another guy to toss out there: Keith Van Horn.

He has been retired from the league after a horrible playing career, and had to negotiate a new contract to complete the Nets-Mavs trade!
  • bullshit all you guys are way off...watch kwame will lead memphis to the promise land!! watch wait and own it haters...swami4life...oops....i mean kwame...TOTAL BUST!!
  • well, according to this theory, memphis should make a huge comeback as soon as they trade him. can't wait till next season, can you memphis?
  • The problem I have with Kwame is, he's not motivated. Kwame will be out the door next season (like Stro), if he doesn't find the motivation. We will have more money. Marc Gasol (Pau's little brother who went to school here in Memphis) better arrive in one piece and ready to win!
Why don't you guys ever mention Marc Gasol. And Javaris C. is really quite good. Remember we were at the bottom last year too! Coach or no coach! They booed Pau here and they booed Kwame in L.A. Kwame wasn't feeling that triangle stuff. But Pau is. Stand under the rim and wait for something to happen.
    So what's your point?

Sasha Vujacic: Saga of a shooter

Sasha Vujacic has come a long way in the last six months as a player and a personality. Sasha was labeled the "11 O'clock player" by Phil Jackson, and it stuck. 11 O'clock player means he plays well at the practices, but not at the games. This year, Sasha is proving his naysayer's wrong by playing with the poise and confidence of a champion. He was even given...

Kobe Bryant Defeats Dallas Mavericks, Again

In 2005, Kobe scored his 2nd highest point total when he beat the Dallas Mavericks by the 3rd quarter 62-61. Obviously his teammates scored a few points here and there allowing Kobe to rest the entire 4th quarter. Had he not sat down, who knows how many points he would've scored, maybe 82? Enough flashbacks, it's now 2008 and Kobe just beat the Dallas Mavericks again...
