The Los Angeles Lakers fined Vladimir Radmanovic $500,000 for lying about how he injured his shoulder. Originally Radmanovic stated he slipped on some ice, seperating his shoulder upon bracing for impact with the frozen tundra.
Lakers bought it, and all was good.
Then last week he told the organization that his story was a lie. While there may have been ice involved, he was not walking down the sidewalk. No, Vlad Rad was giving his best attempt at snowboarding, an activity that is prohibited in his contract.
The Lakers have decided to fine Radmanovic 10% of his salary, adding up to the $500,000
