Mark Rawden, and his associates over at Examiner.com (http://www.examiner.com), are running their own NBA Season Preview for each team in the NBA prior to the beginning of the regular season. Here's a look at the the 2009-10 Toronto Raptors, and a Q&A with Scott Carefoot from RaptorBlog and Adam from RaptorsHQ: (http://www.examiner.com/x-10630-Boston-Celtics-Examiner~y2009m10d5-NBA-Season-Preview-QA-with-Scott-Carefoot-from-RaptorBlog-and-Adam-from-RaptorsHQ) What are your thoughts about the Raptors as the season approaches? How do you feel about their playoff/title chances?Scott Carefoot, RaptorBlog: I'm not as optimistic about this team as most Raptors fans seem to be. I think that they're probably playoff-bound, but I see another first-round exit in the cards.Adam, RaptorsHQ: It's going to be a very interesting season for Raptors fans. The team overhauled almost the entire roster since the season ended, and yet with so many new faces, no one really knows how things are going to come together. It's certainly exciting however, especially considering that before the offseason, most fans thought that the team was going to look pretty much the same to start this season as it did to end last year...which was nothing to jump for joy about. So as the season approaches, I am looking forward to seeing what this team can do. However I'm probably the most pessimistic of our crew at RaptorsHQ, so while I like this club as a playoff team, I don't think this is a 50 game winner. I put them around .500, maybe a game or two over if they can avoid injuries. And I still don't think they have all the right pieces to get past the first round. To read the rest of Mark's Q&A, click here. Bosh Bulked Up Over The Summer
While talking with Chris Bosh during media day the first thing I noticed was the significant amount of weight he put on. It’s clear the extra weight wasn’t in his gut from lounging around some players tend to do, rather the Raptors franchise player clearly dedicated himself to adding some bulk to what once was a lean upper body.
Last season he played at a slender weight of...
