New Number + New Players = New Team

Yes I know it's early and the Los Angeles Lakers really haven't been tested buy a quality opponent, but doesn't it look like the Lakers are already better then last year?

bleh. If i could use my thumbsdown anymore I would. Give me insightful Laker talk, not these I-pulled-stats-and-think-I-know-it. If he had seen the last game, he would have known how Bynum's 20, 14, and 3 blocks were just the beginning of his contribution. He altered a ton of shots, didn't foul, and set some nice screens.
Odom didn't have a hot game either on the offensive end, but he was guarding fucking Garnett! and he did a great job of it too. Whatchu know bout basketball?

Seems like you didn't read the article. He mentions that Bynum is "doing everything and more than expected" and you're on here arguing the same thing. This makes no sense. You also mention Odom having played well despite facing Kevin Garnett, and he makes a point that Odom has been playing well. I don't get it. You're arguing the exact same thing that he is and you're calling him out for it? Real good move there.

"Now Bynum is starting like he has been in the league for 5 years now." The kid fouled out in about 10 minutes of play tonight.
Truth is, I haven't given the insightful Laker talk that I should, and I'm projecting my rage at this article. It's still deserving of a thumbs down. And I didn't read the graf about Odom, I assumed that anyone who watched the game would comment that his scoring numbers were down. If he scores 30 one night, and ten the next, that gives him a 20 point average; that's not consistency.

You're looking on a game by game basis, look at the numbers throughout the year and that tells the story. He isn't taking this in a game by game scenario like you are, he was offering a critique of the team over the entire year.

"The 19-year-old dropped 20, 14 boards, 3 blocks, and no turnovers or fouls. And I know you've seen the replays on the four letter network, those blocks were game changers."

You criticize the Laker article somebody from my site wrote but yet you're summarizing it in exactly the same way.

I gave some quick and dirty thoughts at 2 a.m., the article I linked to was actually well-written.

stick to your dayjob, training dogs.

There were only 3 games by the time he looked at the "entire year"

The internet is real serious business.
