How do you know when your body is actually getting rundown and you can’t just brush it off anymore? When you go to the pharmacy and come out with more soup, tea and popsicles than you can carry. Yes, your girl is feeling a bit under the weather. Good thing the Raptors are out of town for three-game road trip, giving me some time to catch up on sleep.
I was thinking about the NBA lifestyle today. While it must be amazing to get paid like that and never have to worry about finances (assuming, of course, you’ve got the right people in control of that sort of stuff), and while the parties and hookups and connections must be fun, the aspect that appeals to me most –besides just getting to immerse yourself in basketball every single day, which I thankfully sort of do myself–? Napping.
Seriously. Isn’t anything sweeter than an afternoon/early evening nap, especially when it’s dark outside at 5:30 p.m. and it’s starting to get cold as Winter is looming. I took...
