Raiders WR Javon Walker was found unconscious in the streets of Las Vegas Monday morning. Reported injuries are a fractured orbital bone. Most of us questioned the signing of Walker by the Raiders this offseason to the kind of contract he got. But of course I don't think anyone saw him as the type to get himself into this kind of situation. He hasn't been a player with character issues in the past so I guess we will just have to wait and see if he brought this on himself or if he was the victim of a Paul Pierce type of crime.

These athletes must take precautions, what happend to the good ol days when a millionaire had armed security,drivers, and posse as thick as A.I.'s boyz. This is just non sense man, These guyz are walking targets, the economy is screwd and guys are in the club flashin thousands of dollars. If you put your self in that situation numerous times its bound to happen sooner or later.   • Terrible!! :( I really hope he will be okay.
    As far as the broken eyesocket, my brother fell 20+ ft to concrete and broke a bunch of facial bones, including the orbital socket. I'm sure there will be some concern with vision impairment, as there was for my brother. No one would ever know it now looking at him now, he is completely healed and his vision is now back to normal, but it took a while!

    Very sad. I really hope he will be ok, but I think it's going to take some time....

  • it's another case of violence being portrayed on professional athlete's!!!! you think after sean taylor people would've changed but the tragedy continues!!! athlete's have the right to enjoy their lives!!! it's a shame!!! that a dude that has played through so many injuries has to deal with this!!! my prayers go out to his family and friends!!! for those who think it's funny you never know when you could be a victim of a crime like this for alot less!!!
