I realize that most of us already knew this, but Stephon Marbury confirmed on Monday that he is an utter moron. "When things got bad and then worse, guys like Quentin Richardson say, 'I don't consider him a teammate. He let his teammates out to dry.' He didn't care I was his teammate when I was banished. They left me out for dead. It's like we're in a foxhole and I'm facing the other way. If I got shot in the head, at least you want to get shot by the enemy. I got shot in the head by my own guys in my foxhole. And they didn't even give me an honorable death."

  • Mr. Marbury you need to give it the GA Tech Winning Spirit and help your Team Mates, come off the bench
and score 40 points per game and make the New York Knicks Fan proud.

Whenever I Coach Youth Sports, tell the kids all the time, don't worry about to "start" a Game "It's important
to "Finish". I don't start my best Offensive Player, "He or She" sits on the bench and watch there Defense then dominate when "He or She" gets into the Game. Make GA Tech Proud.

  • I am a New York Knicks Fan 4 Life. How can somebody be a New York legend and turn his back on New York it doesn't make sense to me. I attend GA Tech (Female) basketball games and Ga Tech (Men) Baseball games.
He need to suck it up and use his Ga Tech spirit and start "Winning" Games and market himself to a better
team to get Traded. No Team in the NBA want a Cancer on there bench. Coached all Sports for 30 years
and explain to my Players, "There's No Such Thing " Being a SuperStar, 1(one) person can't Win a Championship.
If, I can give Mr. Marbury advice I'd tell him this, I hated to start on any Basketball Team, enjoyed coming off
the Bench with my 2 Scoring Forwards. My fast break Offense would drive the other team "Starting Five"
crazy. My killer Defense, easy 15 Assist per game and Winning attitude allows the Coach to rest the Starters.
You're playing in the Garden, best NBA City, Fans, T.V., News, Media, I'd come off the Bench and put up
40 Points a night and watch the Knicks Fans go crazy. Born and raised New Yorker.
This is Problem Solving 101 to help Mr. Marbury not destroy him or Bash him, I Love Ga Tech Univ.
This is Coach Dee-Jay stating the facts. Have to watch Ga Tech (Females) play Wednesday.
  • Marbury needs to move on and get off the team. He shouldnt be getting paid for not playing when asked to. It's a shame that he is even getting all that money to do nothing when some talented young kid would be more than glad to take his spot for next to nothing.
  • I'm not coming to the defense odf Stephon Marbury, but it's kinda true to what he was saying being left out to dry..Think about it for second, when the season started after he played during the preseason(In which he showed that he still could provide offense and came into camp in the best shape of his career.)He was placed at the end of the bench and he wasn't injured, granted him and D'Antoni have had issues in the past so what,to leave on the bench when the system is designed for a player of his caliber and not even put him in the for all that amonut of time, well why would he wanna play now after the organization traded away their best players(Crawford and Randolph)Again I don't condone or Defend his actions, but he sat there didn't go the Terrell Owens route and b!tch and complain..He just sat and watched like a player on injured reserve does..So do I think that he is a cancer to the Knicks Organization yes,but is he a jerk for not playing ,that depends on how you want to look at it???

Top 10 ways for the Knicks to resolve the Stephon Marbury situation

10. Military action. Hey, the guys that cleaned up that mess in Mumbai are probably free by now. Send them over to Starbury's place. Or, failing that, Plaxico Burress. He's local and probably looking for a new line of work, and it's not like you have to be that fast to take advantage of Marbury anymore...

Al Trautwig would rather stick his pen in his eye than give us another Stephon Marbury update

The MSG broadcaster got his point across during the Knicks pregame Tuesday night when he said, "I would rather stick this pen in my eye than give you another Stephon Marbury update, but here we go." I think Trautwig echoes the sentiments of Knicks - and probably the rest of the NBA - fans everywhere; Enough is enough when it comes to the Starbury-Knicks standoff.Check...

Cadillac Mescallade: Saving Private Marbury

This whole thing is such a mess, but Marbury does make an interesting point. Nobody else on the Knicks got bent out of shape when D'Antoni wouldn't play Marbury (cough, perhaps that would have cut their minutes, cough) but when they had nobody else and they needed just anybody, now he is a bad guy.

Marbury's Not to Blame

I was going to use this space to rip on Stephon Marbury. After what has transpired in the last few weeks, I feel sorry for him. New York Knicks team President Donnie Walsh should have though twice before he hired Mike D'Antoni. Now his team is the laughingstock of the league and there is no end in sight. I believe that D'Antoni wasn't going to use him this...

Madison Square Garden: The Mecca

Tonight, the baby Blazers get to play in the historic Madison Square Garden, which is considered the "most famous arena in the world" and the "mecca of basketball". If you consider yourself a big time sports fan, you need to go to a game there in your life time. I got a chance to go to MSG ...

Dan Gilbert still has head stuck in the sand

Cavs' owner Dan Gilbert had this to say about all of the LeBron-to-the-Knicks talk in recent days."This is not LeBron James saying this stuff, this is just a media phenomenon here that will pass in time," Gilbert said while appearing on "CNBC Reports.""We're focused on this year and you know ...

Knicks Pre-Thoughts and other random musings

Before we move on to the rest of this road trip, I find it necessary to draw a final bit of attention to the Detroit win. That might have been one of the top three most impressive wins I've seen out of Portland in the last three years. Taking the Pistons' shot in the second quarter, adjusting at ...

Knicks Played Their Best Game!

Just watched the NY game and can't help but to admire the way they played yesterday. Oh, of course playing against a defenseless Warriors, its not easy to rack 138 point but then David Lee scoring 30+ and 20+ rebounds? oh wow, I know there's isn't much surprise with his rebounding but wow ...

"I'll decide what's right for me"

The words of Stephon Marbury, a non-playing NBA player who is going to make more in this single year of refusing to provide service than anyone reading this blog will make in their entire life. The NY Times reports that the Knicks' refusal to waive Marbury outright, seeing how he won't play and ...

The first rule of fight club is that you don't lose to the F'n Knicks

I'm still angry about the game last night, which means I'm either completely insane, in need of some hobbies, or just plain pathetic. After all, we're talking about an exhibition game here right. None of what transpired last night actually counts so you could just as easily pretend it didn't happen. Hey, that's a good idea, let me see if that works?Okay, okay...

Day 33 of 170: David Leegasim

Line of the Night: It's just time to accept the fact that the New York Knicks are the fantasy version of King Midas ? everything they touch turns to gold, including Stephon Marbury's brain.
