Triple Double Not Enough

The Cavaliers were spoiled in their home opener and were looking to take revenge against Toronto Wednesday night. The Raptors, who have a new look to their team, are coming off yet another disappointing season. With a healthy Chris Bosh, Hedo Turkoglu, and newcomer Demar DeRozan, the Raptors look to be back as one of the elite teams in the Atlantic Division.

Andrea Bargnani began the game strong for Toronto finishing the first quarter with 13 points. Cleveland struggled to get anything going offensively in the beginning of the quarter but crawled back, only trailing by five at the end of the quarter.

The second quarter proved to be the determining factor in the game for the Cavaliers. The Raptors outscored the Cavs 30-17 in the quarter heading into the half leading 57-39. Jamario Moon got to the line during the second quarter to keep the game within reach.

After what must have been a harsh verbal beat down by Coach Brown at halftime, the Cavaliers came out of the half fired up. The three-ball really helped the Cavaliers cut the lead. Daniel Gibson, Anthony Parker, and Mo Williams all had their share of shots from downtown. The Cavaliers cut the lead to six points at the end of the third.

Jamario Moon's free throw at the beginning of the fourth cut the lead to five points, but that would be the closest the Cavaliers ever came to chasing the Raptors. Between Chris Bosh and Andrea Bargnani, the Cavaliers could not simply contain the Raptors en route to a 101-91 loss.

Lebron James finished the game with a triple double scoring 23 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and handing out 12 assists. Mo Williams added 16 points and grabbed six boards. Jamario Moon scored nine points, five from the charity stripe, and grabbed six rebounds.

Leading the Toronto Raptors was Andrea Bargnani with 28 points, followed by Chris Bosh with 21 points and 16 rebounds. Hedo Turkoglu struggled in his Raptors debut scoring 12 points on 3-7 shooting.

The Cavaliers have no dropped their first two game and look to gain their first win against the Timberwolves on Friday.
