NBA Playoff Rant from the Muffin: The Los Angeles Lakers just won game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on a veeery controversial call. Down by two with a few seconds to go Brent Barry of the Spurs received the inbounds pass and Derek Fisher jumped in the air and CLEARLY bumped Barry before he went up for the shot. I know refs don't want to influence the end of the game...

Why not upload Bad Boys v. Showtime 2.0? It worked out for Magic Johnson and Isiah Thomas pretty well, and it would have just as many compelling story lines. By winning Game 3 at home San Antonio climbed back into the series against Los Angeles but the win will mean very little unless it can protect home court. Even with the victory the Spurs are still underdogs being projected to win the series just 31 percent of the time before Game 4.
