Still, in his first two years, he logged 80 games a piece and is on pace to come close to that mark again this year. He is definitely what you call a role-player. Luther has seen his minutes decrease this year, which is definitely partly due to the formation of a rejuvenated, young, and very talented Houston Rockets team ...

Was I the only one that watched Dream Job on ESPN when it was first aired? No, not the Dee Brown edition, but the one that launched the career of one Anthony Michael Hall. I mean where else could you get dap from Stu Scott and be judged by the likes Kit Hoover, Tony K., ESPN VP Al Jaffe (who should have never come on tv), and THE Lavar Arrington? Nowhere....that's where. Well...

Don’t **** With the Leader

I’m going to flat out say this: I haven’t read the Charley Rosen “Deron Williams is better than CP” column. I know, right? Amazing self-restraint… or is it just that I find it difficult to summon up the will to care about a piece of writing I know isn’t backed up by statistical fact, written by [...]

Seen and heard on TNT, during a studio analysts' debate about NBA point guards: Charles Barkley: "I love Steve Nash, but this is Chris Paul's and Deron Williams' league right now. I always say that Chris Paul is driving and Deron Williams is in the back seat." Reggie Miller: "Where's Steve Nash?" Barkley: "He's in the trunk."

Bored Conversation

Rough travel, but the kids were great and we had a good time. Read a few good articles in the new...

Line of the Night: Al Harrington (11.3) or Deron Williams (10.9) might have won on any other day, but today let's honor Jason Kidd (11.3) and his triple double - 16 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. Kidd must be approaching his, what, one billionth career triple double?

Trailblazers @ Wizards, 4:00pm CSN

BLAZERSWIZARDS EDGECOMMENTSteve Blake had an outstanding performance in last night's victory over the Knicks. 15 points, 6 assists, 1 turnover and 4 threes. He gets Dee Brown on the back end of a back to back on the road and it shouldn't be terribly tough. Brown is a bit of a tweener and ...
