- According to Alex Kennedy of RealGM, it is looking as if the Knicks are beginning to sour on the idea of signing Ramon Sessions as their starting PG. Instead they are looking towards seasoned veteran Troy Hudson to take over the reigns. One can only hope this is incorrect.- Well we knew it was possible that something would change on Nate Robinson's jersey this season. Only instead of a change in team name and colors, it will be his number. According to his Twitter account, Nate the Great will be switching his number from 4 to 2 this upcoming season. His reasoning is that this number, a homage to his favorite athlete Deion Sanders, is the first he ever wore.- Due to the recent signings of Klieza and Wafer, Matt Moore of NBA Fanhouse wonders if it is at all possible for the Olympiakos to beat an NBA team. Not a completely awful idea for an article, but using the new and improved Clippers squad as an example is pretty foolish.- We all knew he'd get back on the horse eventually... JR Smith brings back his Twitter account (minus the gang signs).- Baron Davis lost his laptop recently and got very upset. So upset in fact that his lawyer has already preemptively threatened anyone who would consider publishing any photographs or videos that may be on the aformentioned laptop. Something smells fishy here.- Some of us have had awful, lingering thoughts about the 2010 plan in the past few weeks. I know it's not just me. So for those of you that are worried, I recommend this helpful read by ESPN writer Chad Ford.- Good news for Knicks fans, Eddy Curry has lost 40 pounds since the end of last season. The bad news, don't expect him to ever get down to his listed 285 weight.- Hornets cut more luxury tax for this upcoming season by trading away Rasual Butler to the LA Clippers for a future second round pick and a bag of peanuts.

The state of the Knicks
ESPN’s Chad Ford wrote a good article [Insider subscription required] about how the Knicks’ rebuilding plan has shaped up thus far.
They successfully shed Stephon Marbury, Jamal Crawford, Zach Randolph and Jerome James. But Eddy Curry and Jared Jeffries are still on the roster, and their contracts will eat up cap space in 2010. Surprisingly GM [...]
New York Knicks To Workout Troy Hudson
The New York Knicks have invited 11-year veteran PG Troy Hudson to workout at their Westchester practice facility on Thursday.
Hudson retired to pursue a rap career, which led him to sell 78 copies of his album in the first week. He last appeared in the league during the 2007-08 campaign, playing nine games for the Golden State Warriors.
New York was pursuing PG Ramon Sessions, but...

Eddy Curry Loses Weight
As a matter of principal, I say you should never get credit for something you’re supposed to do and that principal still applies to the news of Eddy Curry losing more weight.

Sessions talks dead; Hudson on the Radar
Yes, even the title itself is depressing. It appears as though the Sessions to New York talks are done, at least for now because of Walsh’s unwillingness to mess up next summer’s plans.
