ClippersW 74-6407/19/2009New YorkW 89-84The final game was all about two players: Jordan Hill for the Knicks and Javale McGee for the Wizards, both starting at center. Hill scored 21 points on 9-17, but McGee followed up his strong 19 point performance in the win over the Clippers with a monstrous 31-point, 8-rebound domination against the Knicks. McGee shot 11-17 from the field, 9 of 10 from the line and also blocked 4 shots. It was a great finish to the Summer League games for McGee, who hit 20 of his last 28 shots and led the team to a 2-game winning streak that allowed Washington to end with a winning record. Whether McGee can build on this record during the regular season is something else entirely. Every year there are a number of Summer League superstars who fade when real games are being played. One who will not fade, I think, is Blake Griffin, first overall pick in the 2009 Draft and power forward for the LA Clippers. Watch McGee dunk on him during Washington's 10-point win over the Clips last week. Embedded video from CNN Video
