Woman Nearly Drowns During Oklahoma City Thunder Halftime Show

This is a pretty fascinating video and description of a legitimate near-drowning at a recent Oklahoma City Thunder halftime show. The incident in question featured Kristen Johnson, a professional escape artist, attempting to perform a pretty intense underwater escape. Hat tip to Deadspin.

    I just don't see the entertainment value in this. What, exactly, is so amazing about picking locks. Give me a bobby pin and a couple hours and even I could learn this crap. As far as I'm concerned, if you lock yourself up inside a chamber of water you almost deserve to have this type of stuff happen. It's the main reason I don't swim with sharks. Sooner or later you're going to get bitten.
