Found January 04, 2013 on Razzball Basketball:
The league is pretty stacked with quality Centers, but every so often, one has the need to scour the lower model machines to see if they can find value. Tiago Splitter had 3 blocks last night, but otherwise finished with a pedestrian 7 points, 3 boards and a steal. That’s in 27 minutes as a starter, mind you. Yeah, the Knicks played good defense, but Tiago has only been averaging 8+ PPG over the past 2 weeks anyway, and it doesn’t explain away the lack of rebounds. Still, he is the starter, and absent one start this month, he has been playing over 20+ MPG for three weeks. His median (yeah, that’s right, math geeks) points/rebounds in December was 10/6. In deep leagues, and at 15%, he’s worth the add. Before we move into the Buy/Sell portion of today’s program, let’s look at a few performances from last night: Stephen Jackson – After taking a three point attempt, he stepped on a waiter (Jrue story) and hurt his ankle. He left the game and did not return. If he misses any extended per...

Ginobili's mission for this season is clear

Postseasons have been disappointing for San Antonio Spurs fans lately ever since 2007 when the team won their last NBA championship. No one can say the Spurs didn't try to win since then, they just didn't have the pieces to put a championship caliber team together. Last year looked promising, but the chemistry the team seemed to build in a small amount of time proved...

Duncan scores 28 to lead Spurs over Bucks 117-110

By Andrew Wagner, The Sports Xchange MILWAUKEE -- On the final box score, it was a close game. Very close. Close enough that one might think San Antonio’s biggest lead -- 21 points -- was a typo. But the San Antonio Spurs’ 117-110 victory over the Bucks on Wednesday at the BMO Harris Bradley Center wasn’t close at all. The Spurs’ seventh consecutive victory -- though...

Video: 'Big Fundamental' with vintage performance vs. Bucks

San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan is supposed to be at th end of his career with his statistics dwindling down along with his skills on the court. He's supposed to be slower and inefficient. That's what he's supposed to be, but what we're actually getting is the opposite. Duncan is averaging 18ppg and 9rpg this season and he showed that type of performance...

Knicks-Spurs: Stephen Jackson Injured By A Waitress, JR Smith Gets Nasty...

((HT: NBA/MSG/Youtube)) The HQ, admittedly, isn't that much of an NBA fan... But when these things happen on the parkay floor, we'll bite... First, JR Smith just gets abusive... Pablo Prignioni has good eyesight... Then, there's the whole notion that when Gregg Popovich rested his guys and sent them home early and he caught hell for it. THIS IS WHY HE...

76ers-Spurs Preview
