The Nets began their life without Vince Carter by choosing Terrence Williams from Louisville. He has been described as the most versatile player in the draft as he can play point guard, shooting guard and small forward. During his senior season at Louisville, Williams averaged 12.5 points per game, 8.6 rebounds per game and 5 assists per game. Williams is also the only senior to be drafted thus far. The Nets had a gaping hole at small forward last year as Bobby Simmons failed to play the way they had hoped. As a result, Williams will see most of his minutes there. -David Cassilo
